One of the hardest thing I've had to do as an adult is to decided between a job or family and friends. I've always told myself I was family oriented but what if getting the job I've always wanted meant having to be away from my friends, family, and significant other...is it worth it?
"I've heard all the money in the world doesn't mean anything if you can't share it with the ones you love, does this still hold true?"
I've always wanted to teach abroad after college, just for a few years, but now as the time draws near there's a lot more things to consider. I guess this is what happens as you get older, you actually start thinking about the people around you and how your decisions will affect them.
The first person that comes to mind is my mother, who is now a great grandmother. I've spent the last 4 years away in college & 1 year abroad, I think I owe it to her to be around. Then, I think about my little nephew who will be 1 at the end of May and how much I've already missed out on the first year of his life because of college. This is small compare to what I will be giving up if I choose to chase a job abroad for the next few years.
