How to Make Your Own Planner Stickers

Seriously since my last blog post (last night) I feel like I've literally entered a rabbit hole. In this case, the rabbit hole of creating planner stickers! I'm learning so much and am so excited to share with you guys! So if you're like me --you're either too broke to buy planner stickers on Etsy or too creative to not create your own! I have good news for you, it's super EASY!

There are many ways to create planner stickers -- but here is how I do it. ---> Also make sure to read the blog post before this one for other great websites to get FREE GRAPHICS to use for your stickers.

1. Download Silhouette Studio
I know what you're thinking, don't freak out on me just yet! I was reluctant to try this software at first because I didn't own a fancy silhouette cutting machine (although I hope to someday--maybe). BUT GREAT NEWS --- YOU DON'T NEED A FANCY MACHINE!! The software is free to download (there's a more advance version you can pay for--BUT who doesn't like free stuff). Click here to download the "Silhouette Studio Basic Edition."

2. Watch these tutorials
It may seem overwhelming at first learning a new software, but I guaranteed you, you won't regret it! It has made designing so much easier compared to what I was doing before.

Basics - Boxes
That's it! That's the basics of making the boxes!

Page Flags
This is super easy - you can also make weekend banners with these page flags.

3. Measurements for the Happy Planner
If you're making stickers for the Happy Planner follow these measurements.

4. Save your work from Silhouette Studio as a PDF or Jpg
You need to save your work in a PDF or jpg file in order to share the file easily.
That's it! That's all the basics you need to know to start creating awesome planner stickers! Please share in the comments below if you found this helpful or have any questions!

XOXO,
Sia
